Leadership with a personal connection
Summit introduces Shepherd “Shep” Baum as its director. His published story describes growing up with dyslexia, building a career in business and later finding his calling in a community focused on young people who need a different kind of support.
The year-round team brings together experience in education, therapy and camp programming. Families can ask who leads each program and who will be their contact throughout enrollment.
Continuity matters
A year-round team helps carry Summit’s social-learning goals into admissions, staff training, camp, travel, Weekenders and the CENTER.
That continuity gives families a chance to talk about fit and expectations before a participant arrives on campus or joins a trip.
